Morgan's face was a picture of panic, and his mouth twitched uncontrollably. His eyes darted around as he was unable to meet Lily's gaze.
"What happened? Did someone set you up? If you know anything, tell me quickly! I'll stand by you and help you. If you keep hiding things from me, we might not be able to resolve this!" Lily immediately tried to reassure him, her expression serious as she locked eyes with him.
"It's… It's Hayden and Christina! They must have started those rumors about me and badmouthed me! But we found out about it early. You have to believe me, Lily!" Morgan wiped the cold sweat off his forehead as he spoke nervously.
"It's them again!" Lily believed him completely without a second thought.
Her face was filled with anger, and she was already thinking of how to deal with the situation. She was most eager to deal with Hayden.
"Don't worry. I'll stand by you and help you through this! Those two won't get far with their lies. It'll all blow over in the end. Now, gather the remaining livestreamers and talk to them. Get them to stay!" she ordered decisively.
"Okay. I'll do it right away!" Morgan responded quickly.
He had felt lost just moments ago, but now, at least, he had a clear direction.
Hurrying to follow Lily's instructions, Morgan gathered the remaining livestreamers.
The number of livestreamers at the company had dropped significantly, leaving only 13—a sharp contrast to the crowded environment it had been before.
The 13 livestreamers sat around the conference room, exchanging awkward glances. While they all wanted to leave, they were waiting to see how things would unfold, not wanting to act too hastily.
