Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 77

"What did Morgan do so wrong to deserve such treatment from you? It's a guaranteed spot—you could have just asked for money!" Lily's voice rose, her tone agitated as she glared at Hayden.

Her breathing became labored, and her eyes were filled with fury.

Meanwhile, Anna and Julia stood silently with neutral expressions.

They had sensed something off since they learned about Morgan's true identity, and they could no longer justify blindly supporting the others.

Especially Anna, who, after seeing some of Hayden's writings, began to question the past events surrounding his time in the Sterling family. She, too, hoped to uncover the truth.

Suddenly, Hayden's mocking laugh pierced through the tension.

He stared coldly at the Sterling family members before him, finding the entire situation ridiculous and incomprehensible.

"Do these people have any sense at all?"

He had earned a perfect score and the guaranteed spot. But just because Morgan wanted it, they felt entitled to take it. Yet, Hayden was the one who remained at fault when he refused to give it to them.

What a joke!

"We no longer have any connection—I've said it countless times!" Hayden's voice was firm, and his eyes burned with intensity.

"If he wants something, he should earn it himself. It has nothing to do with me! As for the money, I don't want a single cent—since it comes from the Sterling family, and I find it dirty!"Hayden's words blazed with anger, expressing his true feelings.

Dirty?

The Sterling family members' faces darkened, anger simmering beneath the surface. They felt humiliated—such an insult to the Sterling name was intolerable.
