Reborn From Ashes novel Chapter 79

Hayden stared directly at Francis, his eyes growing sharper, like blades cutting through the air.

Memories of Francis' ugly demeanor flashed through his mind—each moment etched vividly. Francis' favoritism for Morgan had driven him to commit countless immoral and illegal acts, and Hayden could recall every single one of them, as if it had just happened yesterday.

Even after leaving the Sterling family, Hayden could not escape Francis' control—it stuck to him like a relentless shadow, sickening him to his core.

"Hayden, it's best not to keep fighting," Julia sighed and shook her head slightly. "When faced with true power, you'll only end up losing. Agreeing to this will give you a dignified way out."

It was the only thing she had said since she arrived—an attempt to persuade Hayden to let it go.

"She's right. You're no match for them. Give up the spot before you end up with nothing," Anna added with a resigned sigh.

Anna and Julia shared the same perspective, hoping that Hayden would accept reality and back down.

They believed it was wiser to recognize the situation and adjust accordingly. In their eyes, nobody cared about the struggles of someone without power.

"Oh, so you think I should just hand over the spot too?" Hayden wasn't surprised, but he let out a bitter laugh, his face full of contempt.

"It's just a spot. Give it up and stop making things difficult for Morgan," Charlotte pleaded, sounding as if she was on the verge of tears.

Hayden then took a deep breath and glanced toward James, Serena, and the others, as if seeking their input.

"Hayden, I trust your decision and support it no matter what. Whatever you decide, I'll stand by you unconditionally!" James' voice was firm and resolute.
