"You…" Victor was once again shocked and caught off-guard. He hadn't expected Hayden's guesses to be spot-on!
How was this possible?
Hayden was just a highschool student, so how could he have such ideas in his mind? How could he be aware of things like that?
Victor was stunned for a long while, and he couldn't quite recover his calm.
Just then, a voice rang out. "Still grasping at straws, Hayden? I'm afraid you're all out of chances!"
Francis approached them, followed by Morgan, Lily, Anna, and Charlotte.
They were worried that Victor might change his mind, so they had been keeping an eye on him in secret. They didn't expect things to actually go awry.
"What are you doing here?" Hayden asked in a cold voice as his gaze filled with hatred.
"This isn't your home, either. Why can't we be here too?" Lily retorted in disdain.
Hayden's gaze was cold as he stared intently at them in silence.
"I knew that Hayden would be upset and that he wouldn't agree to it. Let's forget about it. I don't want to take Hayden's spot." Morgan lowered his head and put on a sad act, as if he had done something wrong.
"Don't worry about it. If you have power, nothing you do can be held against you. He left our family, so he has to pay the price for it! I've said that this is your chance, so it belongs to you only!" Francis grinned maniacally, looking all domineering and authoritative.
"Don't do this, Hayden. You're breaking my heart. If you want to further your studies, I can look for other universities for you. This spot in Brighton University is set in stone, so please just forget about it," Charlotte sighed as she cajoled.
"Enough! You bunch of pretentious jerks! What can your sweet-talking do for me now? Did you think you could fool me? I'm not a three-year-old!" Hayden shouted angrily.
"What can you do, then? How are you going to fight back in that lowly position of yours?" Francis said disdainfully.
