The Sterlings had to tally the headcount and prepare the invitations.

On the day itself, they would throw a tremendous party to display Morgan's excellence to the guests.

At that moment, as Morgan watched the others bustling about, he couldn't but raise the corners of his lips. He was getting more arrogant as time passed.

"Oh, Hayden, everything you own will be mine!" he thought, "And you even want to go against me? In your dreams!"

"I'm quite busy, so I'm heading to work first." Julia didn't want to get herself involved, so she turned around and left. She was in sorrow, and her heart could barely endure the pain.

"I have to get to work, too. The thesis is a little tricky, and I'm running out of time." Without any delay, Anna went out right after Julia.

She couldn't bear to watch Morgan showing off his status and position with the spot he had stolen from Hayden.

"Alright, we'll see you around, then!" Charlotte put on a smile, not minding it at all.

Lily didn't bother about it, either, and she tirelessly got to work.

Only Morgan couldn't help frowning. Of course, he was a little upset at Julia's and Anna's absence.

This was a huge event for him, so how could they refuse to help out? Could there be some sort of secret between them?

But Morgan didn't pay it much mind, though he was already feeling a little dissatisfied. In the end, he looked away and continued bustling about.

Outside the villa, Anna hastily ran after Julia. "Where are you going, Julia?"

"Where I go is none of your business. You should get back to whatever you were working on." Julia didn't want to explain anything. She closed the car door and drove off.

"Don't tell me… Is she going to see Hayden?" Anna was slightly stunned, and her expression stiffened a little.

Julia must have read the book, which would explain why she was slightly emotional right now. But if she went to see Hayden right now, she would definitely be turned away.
