Reborn From Oblivion (Nellie and Cameron) novel Chapter 563

His tone shifted to one of genuine vulnerability, “I know I haven’t put in enough effort. Just give me a bit more time. I’ll show you that you’re the most precious woman in the world. No one could ever treasure you more than I do.”

Nathalie wrapped her arms around him, tears quietly falling down her cheeks. She was truly touched.

“Nathan, you don’t need to try so hard anymore. I get it now—I’m worthy, and that’s why I have your love. From here on, I won’t lose faith in myself or indulge in self-pity.”

Nathan hugged her even tighter. “That’s all I needed to hear.”

Miranda found herself awkwardly avoiding eye contact, feeling out of place. Her once-neglected daughter had become the cherished darling of a powerful man. All Miranda could do was slip away, feeling a mix of shame and relief.

Seeing Nathalie’s happiness made Miranda worry more about her other daughter, Greta. She longed for Greta to live an even happier life than Nathalie. But she knew Greta’s spoiled nature had worn down Cameron’s once deep affection for her.

Greta’s future seemed dim to Miranda. Despite her flaws, she was undeniably a caring mother to her own daughter. Concerned for Greta's well-being, she would stash away the treats Nathalie bought her, saving them up to secretly send to Greta.

She also squirreled away the pocket money Nathalie gave her, always anxious about Greta's health and potential future needs.

Nathalie knew all about Miranda’s little schemes but chose not to confront her. Instead, she often daydreamed and innocently asked Nathan, “Nathan, do you think if my birth mother were still around, she’d let me suffer like this?”

Nathan would reassure her, “My Nathalie, with your beauty, kindness, sweet nature, and gentle heart, anyone would adore you. If your birth mom were still here, she’d spoil you to the moon and back.”
