Cameron paused for a moment, then stood up and said, "Even the wisest can slip up. I don't buy that he's untouchable."
He grabbed his coat from the chair and headed out, "I need to see Greta."
Benjamin, not too thrilled, replied, "You go ahead. I'm staying. Greta's lost it; do you really think she's got dirt on Nathan?"
Cameron replied firmly, "I do."
Benjamin looked at him, the confidence in Cameron's eyes swaying his decision, "Alright, fine, I'll tag along one more time."
When Cameron and Benjamin reached the psychiatric hospital, Cameron chose not to disturb Greta. Instead, he stood at the door, quietly watching her for a while.
Greta was sitting cross-legged on the bed, softly humming a tune. It was their song. Cameron listened, his eyes glistening with tears.
Benjamin, growing impatient, asked, "Aren't we going in?"
Cameron replied, "Let's wait a bit."
Puzzled, Benjamin asked, "Wait for what?"
Cameron suspected, "I think Greta's madness might be manipulated by someone."
Benjamin's eyes widened in shock, "Who could be so cruel?"
"Nathan."
Benjamin fell silent.
In his mind, Nathan was a menace, beyond just cruel.
When Greta finished singing, out of sheer boredom, she began tracing circles on the bed. Over and over, until she started writing something.
Cameron watched intently and saw her writing Nathan's name repeatedly.
