She cheered with delight, "I can finally meet my dad. I have a dad now!"
Her joy and excitement were contagious, bringing Nathan a warm sense of fulfillment as well.
"You’ve always dreamed of meeting your real dad, sis. Now that it’s come true, it’s definitely something to celebrate."
"Nathan, it was you who made this happen, wasn’t it?" Nathalie suddenly cupped Nathan's face, gratitude shining in her eyes. "I know you were the one who put those messages online. Dustin had to cave under the pressure from everyone and let me come home. Thank you, Nathan."
Nathan chuckled, "Don’t thank me just yet. Pack your bags, because tomorrow, I’m going with you to face the Stewart family and that sly old fox together."
Nathalie nodded, "Alright."
That night, Nathalie was too restless to sleep. She tossed and turned, and finally decided to head downstairs for a late-night run.
To her surprise, she stumbled upon Nina on a quiet path.
Nina was clutching a bunny-shaped lantern, hurriedly heading toward the estate’s side gate.
Nathalie was puzzled. Where could Nina be heading at this hour? She quietly followed her.
When Nina reached the side gate, she softly called out, "Daddy."
Cameron appeared almost out of nowhere at the ornate aluminum gate, him outside, Nina inside. Their eyes met, brimming with affection, revealing their reconciliation had happened without Nathalie’s knowledge.
Cameron handed Nina a small gift box, "Daddy got you a hairpin."
