Nathalie was feeling uneasy. "Back in the day, Dustin couldn't stand my father. Just to keep him from getting a piece of the Stewart family fortune, he didn't hesitate to go to cruel lengths against my parents. Nathan flashed a mischievous smile. "He's definitely not okay with it, but he really doesn't have a say."

Nathalie looked at him with deep fondness and rested her head on his shoulder. "You've been backing me up all along, haven't you?"

Nathan sat upright, eyes on the road. "Sis, don't worry. I'll clear any hurdles that come your way."

"You've been so amazing to me. Have you ever thought about how lost I'd be if you left me?"

Nathan shivered a little.

The mood suddenly got heavy.

Before long, they reached the Stewart estate.

Standing at the door was the family butler, already briefed by Regan. Spotting Nathalie, he greeted her warmly, "Miss, welcome home. The master asked me to wait for you."

Nathalie noticed the butler's silver hair and his age showed. She couldn't help but ask, "How long have you been with the family, Uncle?"

"Miss, even though I'm quite old, I've only been with the Stewart family for a few years. The original butler left long ago."

Nathalie thought to herself, "Regan went to such lengths to keep things under wraps. Now that everything's out in the open, it must be a huge blow to him."

As the butler led Nathalie to the living room, they were about to step into the elevator when Ashley suddenly appeared.

She called out to Nathan, "Nathan."

Both Nathan and Nathalie turned around.

Ashley approached them with a sorrowful expression and addressed Nathan, "Nathalie, could I have a word with Nathan alone?"

Nathalie's face showed a hint of caution.
