Officer Ashburn finally relaxed, letting out a relieved sigh.

With the task completed, his demeanor shifted. "Ashley, your time's up. You can hang up now."

Nathalie quickly wrapped it up. "Alright, I'm hanging up."

"Hold on..."

"Is there something else?"

"Just remember to eat properly and stay healthy."

Nathalie was caught off guard. "Why the sudden concern?"

"Well, my future's kind of riding on you now."

Nathalie almost wished the ground would swallow her up from embarrassment.

"Got it. Bye."

After hanging up, she took a moment to gather her swirling thoughts.

Despite No. 13's infamous reputation, she couldn't bring herself to dislike him.
