Chapter 110 How Could I Be Reluctant?
Eric a
and Kate walked straight past Ruth and Simon without acknowledging them.
Eric didn’t spare them a single glance, not even bothering to feign politeness, as if he hadn’t heard. anything.
Kate glanced briefly at Simon before turning away. Then she continued her intimate conversation with Eric as they walked out.
Ruth and Simon clenched their fists in frustration as the two ignored them.
Simon watched Eric’s back with a hint of resentment
Why did Eric always carry himself with such aloofness, looking down on him?
Haha, no matter how aloof he acted, he couldn’t win Kate’s heart. That eye–candy heiress still loved him.
Even though Kate’s attitude had changed significantly Simon believed that she must still love him.
She wouldn’t suggest to Hendrick that she make him the general manager of the new design subsidiary and oversee the collaboration with Miles Corporation if she was no longer in love with him.
Kate must be putting on a show in front of Eric.
Simon was seething with rage when he thought of Eric’s cold, arrogant face.
One day, he would make Eric kneel before him!
Simon cast a cold glance at Eric and Kate’s retreating figures, then withdrew his gaze and stepped into the elevator with little enthusiasm.
Ruth entered the elevator with Simon. Once in the office, she threw herself into Simon’s arms and acted pitifully.
“Simon, look what that little tramp Kate has done to me. My arms were almost ruined! They still hurt so much.
“And she had the nerve to ignore you right now and cling to Eric like that. How shameless!”
Ruth spoke jealously as she hugged Simon tighter.
Simon didn’t push her away, but gloom clouded his once–handsome face. He sneered coldly and said, “It’s okay. One day, we’ll trample them both underfoot! Kate is a fool who can’t live without me. She’s just pretending with Eric.”
Why was Kate always so high and mighty, as if she had them wrapped around her finger?
