Hearing George’s voice, Kate felt a warm sensation in her heart and smiled softly. “I’m fine,” she replied.

George sighed in relief before seriously reminding her, “Madam, make sure to take your bodyguards with you wherever you go. Things might not be safe lately.”

Kate nodded gently, “I understand.”

After hanging up the phone, she found herself staring at Eric’s handsome face again..
