He had never watched movies before.

Kate held her phone up to Eric and asked seriously, “Let’s not book a private screening. Let’s go. like an ordinary couple. Okay?”

Eric could never refuse any of Kate’s requests, so her

nodded readily and said, “Okay.”

Eric watched her retreating figure with a hint of regret. His arms felt empty without her. He wished he had let her take a bit longer to choose.
