After everyone from HN Studio had left, the people working there looked at Kate, worried. One of the assistants couldn’t help but come up and ask, “Mr. Lowe, there’s a bunch of refund requests popping up online, like over three hundred. Should we start handling them?” 

Kate was all cool about it. “Yeah, let’s get those refunds rolling.” 

Right as she was about to add something else, her phone started ringing. 

She glanced at it and saw that it was Eric calling. 

A smile popped up on Kate’s face as she quickly picked up, “Hey, Eric-” 

Hearing her sound so upbeat, Eric seemed to relax a bit and asked, “Need me to help out with something?” 

After thinking it over for a sec, Kate got straight to the point. “Actually, yeah. My account’s been messed with. Someone sneaked into my backend and is pretending to be Warm.” 

Got it. 

Eric didn’t waste any time. With focused eyes, he started furiously typing away, cracking his way into the back end of the website like it was nothing. He quickly got into Warm’s account and upped the security, taking over the Warm account with ease. 

“That old IP address? Still can be tracked.” 

Focused on the screen, Eric was chill about it. “The IP for that recent post? It’s from some fancy neighbourhood up north. I’ve got someone on it to find out who it is.” 

Kate couldn’t hide her excitement. “You rock, Eric.” 

Not too long after, HN Studio’s Twitter was buzzing with a bunch of screenshot posts. 

Four years ago, when Warm first showed off their design sketches, it turned out all the online activity was coming from this swanky area in the south of Capital City. 

Guess where it all led? Right back to a single house. And who lived there? The Lowes. 

But now, out of the blue, Warm drops a statement, and guess what? The online footprint leads to this fancy part of town in the north. 

Everyone was left speechless. 

It wasn’t just talk, either. They shared everything, from the first rough sketch to the polished final 

drafts. 

And all of this pointed to one thing: Kate is actually Warm.

People who had asked for their money back were kicking themselves! HN Studio had actually gone through with the refunds. And when they tried to buy again, they were told everything was sold out and they couldn’t buy it anymore. 

“Mr. Lowe, we’re getting loads of messages asking if we can restock! Even those who wanted refunds are now hoping to buy again, really keen to grab a piece,” said the assistant, barely hiding a smile, as they handed Kate the phone. 

They’d all just been through an emotional whirlwind, watching sales soar and then seeing over three hundred refund requests pour in! Now, the very same crowd was trying to backtrack on those refunds and snatch up the products again. 

Kate just offered a small, polite smile and reminded him, “Like I said before, there’s no restocking after a refund. We’re sticking to the limited release thing, and no refunds for personal reasons, alright?”
