Chapter 1117 The Child Did Not Make It
“There’s no need to act so guilty if it really wasn’t you, Ms. Case,” George said.
“I… I’m not. I’m just curious about the evidence she has on me since I’m not the one who did it,” Sharon replied with a stiff look on her face. “It better not be you, or else you’re dead,” Madalyn snorted at her coldly.
After she finished speaking, she took Jolina’s phone and looked at the proof she had. All the pictures and videos were taken very clearly. As Madalyn looked at the evidence, her face distorted with anger. She glared at Sharon fiercely and said, “You b*tch. What else do you have to say for yourself? If anything happens to my precious great-grandchild, I’ll kill you myself.”
Sharon turned pale. “Grandma, those pieces of evidence are fake. They trying to slander me. Please. They’re fake!” At that moment, the door to the emergency room opened. Madalyn hurried over and realized that it was Kelvin.
“Kelvin? W-What are you doing here?”
“I happened to be giving a speech in this hospital when I heard that something had happened to Kisa, so I rushed over to have a look,” he said when it was actually Kisa who asked him to participate in her little act. This hospital was the closest to the movie set. Thus, there was no doubt that the ambulance would take her there while Kelvin waited at the hospital entrance in advance.
Madalyn quickly grabbed Kelvin’s hand and anxiously asked, “Tell me, Kelvin, how is my precious great- grandchild?” Kelvin knew that Kisa was not pregnant, but to help her deal with Sharon, the only thing he could do at that moment was to lie to Madalyn. “I’m sorry, Grandma. The child did not make it.”
“But, Kisa and Gilbert are still so young. They’ll definitely still be able to have children. Don’t you already have two precious great-grandchildren-Andrew and Ada? I think that’s enough!” Kelvin added, as he was afraid that Madalyn would be sad. However, she was so angry that she punched him. “What are you saying? Even 100 great-grandchildren would never be enough!” She yelled.
