Chapter 1337 Like Saying Her Last Words
“Actually, it doesn’t matter anymore. You don’t have to tell me. Or maybe you can tell me later.” It was not that she did not want to know what Lea had done behind her back, rather it felt like Lea was saying her last words. The idea of that terrified Kisa, so she would have preferred Lea to tell
her later
“It is important. Those things are still important.” Lea smiled faintly and lowered her head to take a sip of coffee.
Kisa pursed her lips and looked away “It’s better not to talk about it.”
“I’ll be left with regrets if I don’t tell you now,” Lea said “The first thing I did to harm you started from the birthday celebration of Mr Case Sr. I called you and told you there were short of temporary maids and asked you to go with me. And then Anthony and Sharon set you up by luring Howard and you in the garret of the Case residence. Do you remember that incident?”
Kisa stared at her. “I can’t believe you were involved in their plans at the time”
Lea chuckled. “Yes, he used me that time too, but the nature of things has not changed; it was me who put you in harm’s way
“And then the second time-”
Before Kisa could speak, Lea quickly continued. “The second time was at Kerrona Hill.”
Kisa had nothing to say about the Kerrona Hill incident. It was at that time that she discovered Lea’s abnormality
“On Kerrona Hill, I purposely invited you to see the snow, and had you pushed down the slope.”
“Was it Anthony who wanted me dead that time?”
Lea shook her head. “No one wanted you dead. A certain someone wanted to test how much Gilbert cared about you.”
