Kisa faced Adrien’s inquisitive gaze with a calm expression and said seriously, “Let’s wait a few more days. I’ll go back with Kelvin in a few days. Gilbert has only just gone back, and if I go back immediately. he might think I lack attitude and find me unchallenging.”

Adrien stared at her face for a long while but did not find any flaws. After a while, he laughed while puffing out rings of smoke. “Okay, what you said makes sense. Let’s wait a few more days.”

Kisa’s eyes flickered, and she said deliberately. “By the way, Uncle Adrien, Gilbert’s laptop is still in my room. There may be GK Pictures’s confidential files inside. Shall we sneak a peek at his computer, see if we can steal some of his company’s confidential files? It will be a help in our bid to bring down GK Pictures,” she suggested, trying to gain Adrien’s trust.

Kisa watched his back with grave eyes. ‘From Adrien urging me to follow Gilbert back to Calthon, the person who has a hand in the tea should not be Adrien. But besides Adrien, who in this mansion has the motive to harm me?”

She was at a loss and could only wait for the person to reveal themselves.

“Kisa, Gilbert has gone back to Calthon. Aren’t you going back?”
