Chapter 1408 I Will Feed You
“Then I’ll feed you!”
After saying that, Gilbert raised her chin with one of his hands, forcing her to look up. Before Kisa could say anything, the man pried her mouth open with two fingers. The woman was in pain and wanted to shout at him, but the man had no mercy. He poured the chicken soup directly into her mouth.
Although his actions were rough, the soup did not splash out of Kisa’s mouth. It wasn’t until she was forced to swallow that the man let her go. Kisa started to choke and cough non-stop as her stomach began to churn. She then bent over and started to hurl. However, nothing came out of her. She caressed her own chest while she suffered.
‘F*ck me. This man must think I was only pretending to throw up all this while, huh?”
Just as she expected, the man took a few steps back and looked at her with a sneer. “Didn’t you say you can’t drink it? Why were you able to down it without any issues then?”
Kisa’s face was red, making her pale face look livelier. She held onto the armrest of the wheelchair and looked at his cold face as her vision became blurry. Kisa did not know whether it was because of anger or grievance that she was crying. But she could not speak. All she did was just stare at the man with tears in her eyes.
Gilbert looked away, took a few steps to the side, and lit a cigarette. He took a puff and looked at the clouds in the sky.
“Don’t look at me with that look on your face. Like I said, I’m keeping you here for the sake of my child. I don’t care about what happens to you, but you must keep my child safe. I don’t care whether you really can’t down your food, or you’re just pretending; I will force-feed you next time if you don’t eat, got it?”
As the man said that, he looked at her with disdain.
Kisa’s heart trembled unconsciously, but she stayed quiet. Gilbert finished the cigarette in silence and left after that. As soon as he left, Kisa bent over and sighed helplessly.
‘This is getting way too hard to cope. I really wish Adrien could reveal his true intentions sooner.”
While Kisa was thinking about it, she suddenly caught a glimpse of someone from the corner of her eye.
