Kooper Sr., why didn’t you explain the situation just now? Why did you let Gilbert get the wrong idea? I don’t care if

that woman dies, but what if Gilbert blames me for her death?” She began wailing desperately.

Madalyn scoffed, “Get the wrong idea? Weren’t you the one who asked me to come here? I know full well what you were plotting, so stop putting on an act in front of me!”
