Chapter 290 I’ll Fight You With My Life!

After they got behind the hill, Kisa flung Gilbert’s arm away and asked angrily, “What are you trying to do?”

‘Goddess of My Adoration and The Legend of Luna being filmed surely isn’t pure coincidence. Besides, this man would never genuinely help me,’ thought Kisa.

Gilbert smiled slightly at her, “I helped you, and this is how you repay me?”

“You helped me?” Kisa sneered.

She continued, “Haven’t you always been plotting my demise? You’re only helping me because you want to see me make a fool out of myself.”

Gilbert shrugged indifferently, “Whatever you say.”

Kisa gritted her teeth and said icily, “I don’t care what you’re planning, but the grudge between you and I will eventually be settled. Just you wait.”

Gilbert peered at the resentment in her eyes. Suddenly, he smiled sardonically.

“Honestly, you becoming an international superstar

with the acting you exhibited earlier? Dream on.”

He drew closer to her and gazed at her beautiful face.

Then, he snorted disdainfully, “Just look at you. What will you fight me with? The company Jensen gave you, J & K Film Group? Hah! You’re underestimating both me and GK Pictures.”

Kisa tightened her fists resting by her sides. Despite her harp nails digging into her palms, she did not feel any pain.

She gritted her teeth and said slowly, “I’ll fight you with my life!”

“Your life?” Gilbert could not help but scoff.

“How many lives do you think a person can have? You managed to survive both times out of pure luck.”

Right after he finished his sentence, he reached out and fixed her hair which was messed up by the wind.

“I’m Gilbert Kooper, so I’m selective of my

opponents. Judging from what I’ve seen, you’re still not cut out to be my opponent. If you want to fight

me or take revenge, you’ll have to work hard and get stronger. What’s the point of relying on Jensen and Kohen’s help?”

Kisa swatted his hand away in annoyance, “Just you wait. I’ll definitely take revenge on you by myself.”

Gilbert crossed his arms across his chest and chuckled lowly, “Sure, I’ll be waiting.”
