Reborn Through Fire (Kisa and Gilbert) novel Chapter 421

Chapter 421 I'm Her Mommy

Not long after walking into the school compound, she heard a familiar child's cry. It sounded aggravated and exasperated.

"Who says I don't have a mommy? My mommy is the best."

"That is funny. Where is your mommy? You say your mommy is the best, then how come she has never come to pick you up?"

"My daddy said that you and your brother are children without a mommy."

"My daddy also said that you are all illegitimate children. You might not even be the children of the Kooper family."

"Haha, a child without a mommy is pathetic. Ada, you are so pathetic. Haha."

Kisa followed the voice and saw a few mischievous little boys mock Ada, who gritted her teeth and clenched her fists in exasperation. She glared at the boys, her eyes red, but still holding back her tears. Kisa felt a pang of pain inside her upon seeing this. She subconsciously looked over at Gilbert, who was standing still with his hands digging into his pockets. So she grunted in anger, "Why don't you intervene when your daughter is being bullied?"

Gilbert lowered his eyes. "Other children always mock her for not having a mommy. Even if I intervene this time, they will still mock her next time, unless..." he looked at Kisa, "her mother appears."

Kisa pursed her lips and looked at Ada again. The girl was angry and aggrieved, and those tears were swelling in her eyes. Suddenly, Ada pushed the little boy who mocked her the most, and the boy

fell to the ground. Defiant, he immediately got up and pushed Ada back. Kisa saw this and panicked. But before she could rush over, Ada had already been shoved to the ground.

Ada pouted sadly. Her voice was choked with sobs as she said, "I have a mommy. I really have a mommy."

"Haha, where is your mommy, then? I have never seen her. Call your mommy out if you have a mommy."

Kisa could no longer bear to see this and yelled at the boys, "I'm her mommy! How dare you bully my daughter?"

Ada, who had been holding back her cry, burst into tears as soon as Kisa appeared. The little girl got up from the ground, plunged into Kisa's arms, hugging her and crying her heart out. "I told you I have a mommy. I have a mommy."

Kisa patted her on the back, heart-breaking. She then snapped at those boys, "How dare you bully my daughter? If you all learn this bullying behavior at such a young age, I can't fathom what kind of person you all will grow up into," Kisa said sternly. "Apologize to my daughter."
