Kelvin thought that he was lying, but he did not say anything.

“Finding the guards in Hillsby was just a part of my plan. I bribed them before bringing Kisa there. I even hired some killers and set up some traps along the way just to make her trust me.

“Otherwise, do you really think that I and her would make it out alive if the killers were real? Hmph. They were only some actors I hired to fool her.”

Madalyn looked at Gilbert suspiciously.

“I only sent her to prison back then because I thought she was the one who did all the bad things, and I hated her so much for it. However, I came up with another way to get back at her after knowing that she didn’t die.

“Hmph. I know that Jensen likes her, so I’m just using the woman he loves against him. I believe that this is going to work really well.”

Madalyn looked at him strangely.

“This doesn’t sound like you at all. You wouldn’t do something so cruel to her.”
