Lin Zhiyi was looking at the movie ticket when suddenly the female lead screamed, causing her to tremble and drop her phone.
The screen went off instantly.
And it just had to fall next to the foot of the person beside her.
Lin Zhiyi lowered her voice apologetically, "Sorry, could you please move your foot? I dropped my phone, it’ll only take a second."
The person didn’t speak, but awkwardly shifted their long legs to the side a bit.
Lin Zhiyi didn’t dare delay, and quickly crouched down to feel for her phone.
But it was pitch dark inside the cinema, and all she could do was fumble around on the floor, eventually touching the other person’s foot.
Embarrassed, she didn’t dare to lift her head.
Suddenly, the other person shifted their leg, leaned slightly towards her and said, "Need help finding it?"
Upon hearing the voice, Lin Zhiyi abruptly looked up.
The man’s face was intermittently illuminated, but his deep eyes were unforgettable.
Gong Chen.
"You!"
Lin Zhiyi instinctively raised her hand to push the man in front of her, but her body collided with the back of the seat in front.
The person in front turned their head and clicked their tongue, "Can’t afford a room? Coming here for thrills."
Only then did Lin Zhiyi realized how compromising her posture with Gong Chen was.
She hurried to her feet, but ended up blocking the people behind her.
"What are you standing up for? You scared me."
Flustered, Lin Zhiyi found herself pulled back down to her seat by Gong Chen.
She glared at him angrily, whispering, "Are you stalking me?"
Gong Chen slightly propped his cheek with his hand, tilting his head, "Hmm."
"..."
Shameless.
How could he admit that so easily?
He used to at least make some random excuses!
Lin Zhiyi was lost for words and decided not to look for her phone anymore, nor did she want to deal with him, turning her head to continue watching the movie.
But Gong Chen maintained his posture, continuing to stare at her.
Not only that, his leg kept leaning towards her, forcing her to keep shifting her seat.
She couldn’t tolerate it any longer, "Please move your leg back."
Gong Chen looked down, speaking in a deep voice, "I can’t move it back."
Lin Zhiyi clenched her fists.
Just as she was about to push away the leg in front of her, Gong Chen bent down, picked up the phone off the floor, and shook it in front of her.
She could only clench her teeth and retract her fist.
"Give it back to me."
"After the movie."
Saying so, Gong Chen stuffed the phone into his pocket.
Lin Zhiyi angrily reached out to grab it.
Her hand fumbled at Gong Chen’s pocket for quite a while, until he forcefully held it against her waist.
"Stop touching."
"You... are shameless." Lin Zhiyi’s hand struggled a few times.
Gong Chen, however, didn’t make it hard for her and let go, asking softly, "How is your hand doing?"
"It’s none of your business."
Lin Zhiyi adjusted her position.
Gong Chen remained silent.
As the movie became bloodier by the minute,
the couples around them either leaned or hugged each other close.
Lin Zhiyi suddenly realized why it was called a romantic sci-fi movie; she had been fooled!
Watching the bloody scenes, she quickly reached for her milk tea to calm her nerves,
but touched nothing. When she looked up, Gong Chen was holding her milk tea.
"Bought it for Sang Li? Too bad he can’t drink it."
"I’ve had a sip already." Lin Zhiyi reminded.
Gong Chen’s gaze shifted down to her lips, "Is there a place I haven’t touched yet?"
Lin Zhiyi felt calling him shameless was an understatement. fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
She took a deep breath and moved one seat away, considering she had bought two tickets anyway.
But she still underestimated Gong Chen.
As if he had anticipated this, he moved over very naturally.
