Harry could manipulate everyone, but he never imagined that someone would surpass his schemes and become an exception in his life. The words he hesitated to say twice ultimately came out too late.

Seeing Julia sitting alone, and Harry not showing up, Donald approached her and asked, “Why hasn’t Harry arrived yet?”

“I already told Harry. Don’t you know if he’s coming or not? Why didn’t you inform Harry Wright about this?” Julia’s words were always sharp whenever she talked to Donald, making him extremely uncomfortable.

Donald glared at Julia. “I don’t want to argue with you in this situation. Just call Harry and ask where he is.

Julia chuckled coldly and said, “Ask him yourself”

Donald suppressed his anger. “Is this the way you talk to me?”

Julia was amused and said, “Then, how would you like me to talk to you?” She paused, wanting to infuriate Donald event more. She continued, “I’m already here today. That’s good enough.”

As expected, Donald’s face contorted in anger. He glared at Julia before turning away to avoid further embarrassment. Watching Donald walk away, Julia remained unfazed. Instead, Cecilia, who had witnessed the entire exchange, swayed over to Julia with what she thought was a graceful movement. Thinking she was a princess, she looked at her disdainfully. “Julia, you need to stop being arrogant.”

“Am I being arrogant? Why don’t you mind your own business? The daughter of a mistress.” Julia didn’t even bother to lift her head, her words causing Cecilia to stomp her foot in anger.

Cecilia was on the verge of grabbing Julia’s hair, angrily saying. “Who are you calling the daughter of a mistress?”

“Whoever is talking to me. It’s obviously you. Are you dumb? Seems like you’re truly dimwitted” Julia didn’t hold back her words, leaving Cecilia with an angry face.

Julia chuckled. “The daughter of a mistress dares to tell me to watch my mouth? When your mother shamelessly climbed into my father’s bed, did she watch her mouth?”

Julia glanced up briefly at Harry, her attitude neither warm nor cold. Harry nodded at Cecilia and then walked over to Julia. seemingly unaffected by a week of no contact.

Harry was taken aback by Julia’s directness. For a moment, he was at a loss for words. “Are you always going to talk to me with this attitude?”
