The news of Julia’s injury quickly reached Lucia’s cars. Although he couldn’t attend Donald’s birthday party that day due to some prior engagement, many attendees knew her. They were all part of the same social circle, and gossip spread rapidly within that circle. It was only a matter of time before Lucia heard about it.

When Lucia arrived at the villa and saw Harry helping Julia change her dressing, she became furious. As the gauze was removed, she saw the horrifying wound on Julia’s hand. Pointing at Julia, she scolded, “You’re useless! How could you let her hurt you!”

“Mom, what are you saying?” Harry said seriously as he helped julia change her gauze. At the same time, he had to face Lucia’s wrath. 

Lucia said sternly. “Didn’t I already tell you to sever ties with Ary? Are you still secretly contacting her behind our backs! Harry, how many times do I have to tell you before you truly listen? As long as I’m alive, don’t expect to marry Arya into our family.”

Harry replied, “I understand.”

With her hands on her hips, Lucia paced around the room, observing Julia’s pitiful appearance. She then thought of Harry and Arya’s relationship and felt extremely angry. “If you truly understood, you should have severed ties with Arya long ago.”

Julia looked at Harry’s serious side profile and saw that he still wanted to protect Arya. She could not help but envy Arya, knowing that Harry was so concerned for her and even willing to confront Lucia for her sake.

Julia was well aware that Harry was a devoted son, and seeing him go to such lengths made her envious of Arya.
