When Julia saw Harry walk into the private room, she couldn’t believe he had actually come. Coincidentally, Otis was sitting next to her, pouring coffee for her.

Just a moment ago, Otis and Julia were chatting and laughing, but now Julia’s smile froze as Harry entered. Valerie, however, acted as if nothing had happened and quickly invited Harry to sit on the other side of Julia.

Harry used the most indifferent tone to ask the gentle question, leaving Julia puzzled by his stoic expression. She looked at him, realizing he didn’t know she disliked eggplants and cilantro. That was why she hadn’t touched her food. 

But then, Otis softly spoke up. Julia doesn’t like eggplants and cilantro.

Julia’s expression changed instantly. The temperature seemed to drop a few degrees in the private room, chilling her more than the air conditioning. Harry stared at her, seemingly asking if it was true.

Julia’s mouth twitched, thinking how she should respond. Feeling lost, she decided to remain silent, resolving never to attend such dinners again. She blamed Valerie for suggesting it. It wasn’t about testing Harry. It was about testing her own adaptability.

Seeing that Julia did not answer, Harry’s expression changed slightly. He already had an answer in his heart.
