“You don’t have to admit it. Harry reached out and took Julia’s hand affectionately. I already know it’s you.” 

Julia seemed startled. She quickly withdrew her hand and turned to walk away, as if fleeing in panic. She didn’t dare to look back, fearing that Harry would notice her embarrassment, nervousness, and the blush on her face. 

If she understood correctly, did Harry confess to her? 

But he never said he liked or loved her. She didn’t dare to draw conclusions rashly, afraid that it would all be wishful thinking on her part. Otherwise, her expectations would be all for naught. She didn’t want to experience the roller coaster of emotions again. 

She rushed back to her room. The butler, seeing her hurried expression, thought something serious had happened. Julia vaguely explained and returned to the room. 

Their room had always been kept in the Wright mansion. Even if she hid in the room, she couldn’t avoid meeting Harry again tonight in this room. 

Back in her room, Julia’s heart, which had been pounding madly, didn’t calm down. She covered her heart. Harry’s words seemed like a belated confession to her. She was excited and scared. She couldn’t judge what Harry’s words meant or whether he really liked her. 

She was restless. She hesitated for a long time before finally calling Valerie for advice. Valerie had become her emotional mentor, but Valerie didn’t pick up the phone, so Julia had to give up.

Half an hour later, the knock on the door startled Julia. She immediately stood up from her chair. Harry pushed the door open and entered. Seeing Julia’s embarrassment, he couldn’t help but smile.

“Why did you run just now?” Harry asked directly.

“The butler said Mom woke up and is fine. It’s too late tonight, so let’s go back tomorrow. The servants have cleaned the rooms.” Pausing for a moment, Harry looked at Julia and said slowly. “Would you like to freshen up first, or should I go first 

Julia wasn’t ready to face Harry yet. Hearing that she could temporarily avoid facing him, she immediately rushed into the bathroom. Without even taking off her clothes, she turned on the shower, letting the cold water soak her hair and clothes. 

As the water temperature gradually rose, Julia began to feel a little warmer. 

After Julia finished showering and stood in front of the mirror, she couldn’t help but touch her face. She was different from when she was a child. Did Harry really remember her? 

Then, someone knocked on the door. Julia was easily startled, and the sudden knocking sound startled her. She shivered, and the water from the open tap splashed onto her body, jolting her awake.

Harry smiled and pretended not to notice the subtle expressions on Julia’s face. When he entered the bathroom, Julia breathed a sigh of relief and sat in front of the dressing table. Si blow–dried her hair while reminiscing about what Harry had said to her tonight. 

She had always hoped that Harry would remember her, but when he actually did, she felt awkward again. 

Julia sighed softly. In reality, she preferred clear confessions, which were more practical and easier to understand than speculating about Harry’s thoughts. 

What she feared most was being presumptuous, and misunderstanding Harry’s intentions. If it were a misunderstanding, it would be fine. But she worried she might have misunderstood, so she went crazy expressing her feelings to Harry 

As Julia lay on the bed, the thought of sharing the bed with Harry tonight made her nervous again. Although it was something they often did, tonight felt different. 

When Harry came out, Julia already closed her eyes, feigning sleepiness. Harry couldn’t help but take a few more glances at her sleeping face. 

Approaching the bed, Harry adjusted the bedside lamp to the dimmest level, leaving just a faint glow. As he got into bed, Julia visibly shified. Harry frowned and moved more gently. 

After Harry lay down, Julia silently turned over, facing away from him. Seeing this, Harry chuckled softly, wondering about something
