To Julia, going on a business trip in Willow City was like going on a trip with her family. Although her family came uninvited and all the expenses were self–funded, from the perspective of others, they were envious that Julia could have such a good husband who followed her like a shadow. 

Even Kathy felt that it was a little too much when she saw Harry following closely behind Julia. He rarely chatted with anyone. Even when he talked to Asher, he spoke so little that it made people want to beat him up. Only when chatting with Julia would Harry be willing to say a few more words. Harry asked, “Are you afraid of me?”

Harry smiled without saying anything. The two of them sat in the back. Valerie sat in the front passenger seat and Alden drove. 

At one point, Alden thought that letting Valerie go back with them was the best decision.

She held the phone and turned to glare at Julia. “I didn’t.” 

Julia was about to say something when Harry suddenly said, “She is acting like a woman in love.”

Harry said, “She depends on her boyfriend when she’s sad.”

Valerie’s phone rang non–stop. She couldn’t be bothered with Julia and Harry, so she focused on chatting with her boyfriend. It was rare for her boyfriend to chat with her on the phone, so she naturally had to cherish it. 

Julia felt that there was something wrong with Valerie’s understanding. She also felt that what Valerie said was very ridiculous. She thought, ‘Valerie does not understand Harry at all. Harry is not such a person. How could he be hinting to me to rely on him more?‘ 

Julia frowned and could not help but secretly look at Harry.
