On the second day after Julia was discharged from the hospital, Elarry finally returned to Cromont City from Mestoura, julia did not mention a word about this to Harry. When she walked out of the company after work, she saw Harry’s car parked in front of the company. 

Harry got out of the car and walked towards Julia. 

“I haven’t seen you for a week. Why have you lost weight?” This was the first thing Harry said when he saw Julia. “Can’t you take good care of yourself without me by your side?” 

Julia smiled and did not say anything. She looked a little tired. “I’ve been busy with work recently. You must be tired after coming back from a business trip. Go home first.” 

Harry felt that something was wrong, but when he looked at Julia again, Julia had already walked to the front. Looking at Julia’s straight back, he vaguely sensed that something was wrong. 

Harry took Julia’s car back. He wanted to have a good rest, but he did not expect to see an uninvited guest at home, Donald Jackson. 

Julia glanced at Donald indifferently and felt that he really knew how to pick the right time. He had contacted Julia several times, but Julia refused to meet him on the pretext that she was busy. In the end, she came to her house today and happened to bump into Harry returning from a business trip. 

Julia did not want to talk to Donald. She simply greeted him, “Why are you looking for me? Didn’t I say that I’ve been very busy recently? I’ll contact you when I’m done. Why are you here?” 

Even though Donald was used to Julia’s lukewarm attitude towards him, he still could not help but act like a father in the face of Julia’s attitude. He sternly reprimanded Julia, “I’m your father. Why do I have to tell you in advance before I come to see you? Why do I have to make an appointment with you?” 

Julia sneered. “Even if you make an appointment in advance, I might not have the time. I’m already married. My time and life don’t revolve around you.” 

“Julia!” Donald raised his voice. “I’m your father. Is this how you talk to me?” 

“If you had done your best as a father, I wouldn’t have treated you like this. There are consequences for your actions. You didn’t behave yourself and still criticized me. If you want respect, go and mess with Cecilia Jackson. She respects you very much.” 

Donald was so angry that his face turned ashen. “You clearly have the same father. Why are your tempers so different from Cecilia’s?” 

“I feel humiliated because I have the same father as she does,” Julia said and went upstairs. She did not even want to talk to Donald anymore. 

Her sudden anger frightened Harry. As Julia left, Harry retracted his gaze and looked at Donald. “Dad, why are you here?” 

“Harry, I originally wanted to talk to Julia. You’ve seen her attitude towards me. I definitely can’t talk to her about this. However, it’s good that you’re here. It’s definitely best if I can talk to you about this.” Donald rubbed his hands secretly, feeling a little anxious. 

Harry said, “Then let’s go to the study.” 

Julia knew that Harry had brought Donald to the study, so she simply locked herself in her room. She did not want to go out and face Donald and Harry. Now, she hated both of them. 

Fortunately, Harry did not ask Donald to stay for dinner. When Harry came to look for Julia, Julia was looking at her phone.

No one knew what she was looking at, but her expression was upproachable. 

Harry approached Julia hesitantly. He looked down and saw that Julia was clearly looking at jokes, but there was no trace of a smile on her face. When she realized that Harry was there, Julia looked up expressionlessly and asked, “He left? Is he here to ask for money again?” 

Harry nodded. Donald always asked Harry for money. 

In Julia’s words, Donald had no business sense but insisted on doing business and investing like others. If it weren’t for her mother, Donald would have gone bankrupt long ago. 

“How much did you give him?” Julia asked. 

“Ten million.” 

Julia frowned. “Didn’t you just give him 2 million dollars last time? This time, he actually wants 10 million. You’re wasting so much money by giving it to him. He won’t be able to returrit.” 

“He’s your father. He asked to borrow money from me. I have no reason not to lend it to him.” 

“Borrow? He has borrowed money from you so many times, but he hasn’t returned it even once. He has borrowed almost 20 million dollars in total from you. Even if I sell myself, it’s not worth this money,” Julia mocked herself. She did not look at Harry’s expression and said, “You need to ask him to return the money.” 

A moment later, Julia spoke again. “Since you are wealthy, you’re not in a hurry to ask him to return it.” 

Harry said, “It’s like you’ve been on dynamite since I got back. You…” 

Julia felt that she was indeed very upset. Before Harry returned, she had indirectly asked Harry to tell her the truth over the phone, but Harry did not. Now that he was back, he still had to pretend that nothing had happened. 

Just because Julia didn’t say anything didn’t mean she was stupid. 

“Harry, do you know what you look like now?” Julia raised her eyebrows and glanced at him. “Noisy. It doesn’t match your usual dull appearance at all.” 

This was the first time someone had described Harry as noisy. He was instantly furious and turned around to leave. Julia’s anger was inexplicable. 

Harry could understand why Julia was like this, but he felt that he’d better stay silent since Julia was acting like this to him as well. 

“Harry.” Just as he was about to leave the room, Julia called out his name and said faintly, “Are you very busy and tired from this business trip?” 

Harry’s body trembled. Combined with Julia’s attitude when she saw him, the tone she used on the phone a few times, and Julia’s abnormality, he was stunned on the spot. 

He couldn’t help but ask, “What are you trying to say?” 

“How’s Arya?”
