Chapter 135 

“Elaina,” Alpha Greg called and I quickly took a few steps backwards from Alpha Atlas. 

Alpha Greg came closer. I remembered how I had left him hanging and felt bad immediately. He flashed me a smile and I 

him a small smile.

I was actually happy to see him. Alpha Atlas’s question threw me off guard, but his presence would definitely distract Alpha Atlas’s from getting a response to his question from me. 

Yes, I was here because I thought Alpha Atlas was out here with Beatrice, but the last thing I would ever do is to let him know that. 

I moved further away from Alpha Atlas and got close to Alpha Greg. 

Atlas looked pissed now. He clenched his fists and I could tell right away that if he was not taken away from here, then there would definitely be a fight between him and Alpha Greg. 

I said a silent prayer and luckily for me, Alpha Atlas left out of anger. 

I heaved a sigh of relief and then I looked up at Alpha Greg. I remembered how I had left him hanging again and my guilt intensified. 

“I’m sorry,” I quickly apologized and he flashed me a smile.. 

“You don’t need to be sorry. I am actually happy to be out here. The party was just too noisy for my liking and I had to come out here.” 

He leaned closer and when he saw that I was getting nervous, he leaned away. “I wanted to talk to you, but inside was just too noisy. Now that we are outside, can we talk?” 

At first, while Greg was talking, I was not paying much attention. I kept on thinking of my encounter with Alpha Atlas, but as time went by, I got interested in what Alpha Greg was saying and I ended up talking a lot with him. 

Alpha Greg’s phone was ringing uncontrollably after a while so we had to go back to the party. When I got in, I saw Alpha Atlas in a company with many other she–wolves and I clenched fists. I should be the only female he should talk to. I gave myself a silent scolding for having such thoughts. 

The music came on and couples began to dance with each other Alpha Greg invited me to join him to dance and I accepted. Just that, while we both danced, I stole glances at Alpha Atlas. 

Alpha Atlas was talking to a she–wolf that was not me. It should not be my business, but I couldn’t help but get a little jealous even when I did not want to. It was sad, when it came to liking Alpha Atlas, my wants were no longer fully mine. 

I heaved a sigh of frustration. Why was I thinking of him? Why am I troubled watching him talk to other she–wolves? 

As Alpha Greg and I danced, I took another peek at Alpha Atlas and I frowned. He did not spare me at least a glance and I clenched my teeth. 

I decided to focus on Greg and have fun while ignoring Alpha Atlas.
