“Miss Hall, may I ask why you chose the Puth Corporation? After all, we are not yet as qualified and recognized as the Borka Group in real estate industry.” said Brian Larson, CEO of the Puth Corporation. He felt quite flattered,

When Brian knew that the Hall Group intended to work with the Puth Corporation, he even rushed back to LOS Angeles from California to meet with Jessica.

“Mr. Larson, are you saying that you don’t have faith in your own company?” Jessica raised her eyebrows and asked.

Brian froze for a few seconds before he burst out laughing. He then said, “I believe we‘ll have a pleasant cooperation, Miss Hall.”

After Brian left, Jessica was in a very good mood. Megan and Watson tried to make things difficult for Jessica, yet they forgot that Jessica was no pushover.

Shortly afterward, Megan learned that Jessica had replaced the Borka Group, so he called Jessica at once.

“We have been working with the Borka Group for many years. How could you change that?” 

“I think the Puth Corporation is qualified enough. Besides, Mr. Larson‘s offer is 30% lower than Borka’s.”

Jessica made a fair point. Megan couldn‘t argue, so he had to hang up the phone, reluctantly though. 

It was Saturday the next day. Jessica called Wendy and said, “Wendy, have Jessica invited over to a loge at LURE, Remember, manners are not required for that job.“, 

“I see, Miss Hall.” Wendy knew what Jessica was talking about. 

Hannah knew that Jessica was about to teach Olivia a lesson tonight, so she came to Jessica with excitement. When Hannah saw her bestie, she put on a sly smile. “Jessica, I‘ve got what you asked for. You will be more than satisfied.

In the evening, when Jessica and Hannah arrived at LURE, Olivia had been locked up there for more than an hour. 

At first, Olivia trembled with anger and kept shouting, but people all ignored her. Later, Olivia‘s fear grew. 

Olivia then recalled that one hour earlier, the kidnappers didn‘t scruple to drag her into their vehicle right on the street. That meant they weren‘t terrified of the Thomas family at all.

Jessica walked over with the glass of wine. She held Olivia‘s chin with one hand and poured the red wine into Olivia’s mouth with the other. Olivia tried to resist by shaking her head, but Jessica was much stronger than Olivia expected

When Jessica finished, the door of the loge was kicked open. It was Lucas and Hari. 

“Since the Thomas family doesn’t know how to teach Olivia well, I took the liberty to do the job.” Jessica wiped her slender fingers with a tissue before she threw it away. She then headed to the door.

When Jessica reached the door, Lucas, with a sullen face, suddenly grabbed Jessica. “Apologize to Olivia!”
