The kidnapper claimed that he would pay another sum of money if the news was true.
The money was nothing for Bessie. What she really wanted was to embarrass Sophia into the Li Family again.
Bessie started the car and smiled.
Since Bessie left, the look on her face had never been better. Sophia lay on the bed, complaining about herself. Even though Andrew's Grandma hadn't called her yet, Sophia felt that she was almost out of breath under the pressure of the public opinion.
She tossed and turned, but couldn't think of a way.
Adela didn't understand why Sophia was in such a hurry.
"You tossed and turned in bed for a while, and then you act like a maggot. What's wrong with you?" Adela complained.
"It's not that I'm depressed. It's just that the news is breaking. Do you think I can still go out?" Sophia lowered her head in chagrin.
Then, with a cold smile on his face, David said, "I've arranged everything well. You don't have to worry about it."
Arranged? Surprised, Sophia didn't understand what David meant at all. From the beginning to the end, Mio had come in and reported to him, and Andrew had always been indifferent. How could it be said that he had arranged everything well.
After a while, Andrew said hesitantly, "Mio will bring a stylist to change your clothes in the afternoon. You can go to the press conference with me."
"Okay," replied Sophia indifferently.
