Chapter 357 A Big Shove
Simultaneously, Claude and Angela looked at Martha.
Angela said urgently, “What do you have in mind? Just say it!”
Martha frowned upon her anxious look. “Angela, no matter what happens any place, any
time, keep your cool! You shouldn‘t have lost your cool even if there were no outsiders!”
Claude‘s face dropped. “No more lectures. Tell us what to do!”
Martha looked at their anxious faces and sighed, “We‘re not the only ones who don‘t like Gloria. Someone hates to see Gloria and Jordy get back together more than we do. The party is going out live. Olivia may watch it.”
Claude‘s eyes lit up. “You‘re tight. Not just Olivia, but Old Joseph Collins doesn‘t like them together.”
Angela furrowed her brow. “This seems like the least useful thing to do. We tried to piggyback on their dislike of Gloria, but in the end…”
“It was useful, wasn‘t it? Jordy divorced Gloria. Old Joseph Collins‘ announcement showed hostility to Gloria, and Jordy didn‘t care.” Martha‘s smirk widened. “So in Jordy‘s mind, respecting his family is very
important. Do not turn against them and make them like you, and you‘ll get a fabulous life.”
Angela‘s frown deepened. “No, this is not going to work. We have to make the first move.”
Claude nodded approval. “That‘s right! What if the Collins family only cares about
themselves, not us?”
Martha sneered, “The more we do, the more mistakes we‘ll make. We have to look at Gloria totally differently. Don‘t you fear what she‘ll find out? Even if she loses control of the White Group, she‘ll flourish in some way.”
Angela and Claude both fell silent.
