Gloria watched him, "What..." She wanted to ask him why he came here. But words failed her.

She knew very well he was wooing her. He was trying all means to pursue her. No need to ask since she already knew the answer. Jonathan curled his lips, "I'm worried you'll get tired from looking after him, so I'm here to keep you company." 

"No, thanks!" Gloria refused him without a second thought. Bryson could not stand being provoked and she was afraid that Jonathan's presence would make Bryson feel worse. 

Gloria stared at Jonathan and spoke, "I'll stay in the hospital for days to come, and I hope you can keep a distance from me in this period." 

Jonathan narrowed his eyes, "You care a lot about him?" 

"He's my family." Gloria emphasized these words to let Jonathan understand how important Bryson was to her. Jonathan let out a chuckle when he heard her words. 

"You take him as a family, not a lover?" Gloria frowned and looked at Jonathan with displeasure. Jonathan was in a noticeably better mood. Then he said, smiling, "I'm here to give you something, and I won't bother you over the next couple of days. But if you can't take good care of yourself, I won't show mercy for the man you care about. After all..." 

With that, he leaned forward and Gloria's face changed. Before she could step back, Jonathan's crisp and slow voice came to her ears.
