Chapter 625 It Was Weird
Karen didn’t know how to tell Newell what happened and whether to tell him about it.
“Huh?” It was the first time that Newell had seen his mother so hesitant.
“You always share things with me, don’t you?”
Light twinkled in Karen’s eyes. Then she told Newell about what just happened.
Newell was shocked, “He really wanted to remarry Gloria?”
Karen nodded, “But I always feel like he’s hiding something from me. Does he really like Gloria? If he doesn’t, I don’t want him to hurt her anymore.”
Newell didn’t say anything, as if he were thinking about something
Karen continued, “I’m just worried. I don’t know what to do. If I help them get back together like before, it’s unfair to Gloria. But what if Jordy really regretted it and has changed his mind? Gloria loved him so much. Even if she’s over him, she might still have some feelings for him, but…”
She paused for a moment and continued, “Not all my conjectures are right. They’ll decide how the things develop themselves… Alas.”
Newell nodded, “You are right. I think you should stay out of this matter. It’s up to them. We can’t stop Jordy from doing anything, and I don’t want Gloria to be hurt again. If you keep bringing them back together, Gloria will do as you say to avoid embarrassing you. It will only put her in a dilemma.”
Karen nodded with a sigh, “You’re right… That’s what I’m afraid of too, so I dare not act rashly. Well… I don’t understand. Does Jordy really regret it? Is he up to something?”
Newell frowned slightly, and didn’t know what to say.
But he felt that his son wouldn’t be such a despicable person
After a pause, he said, “Don’t worry about this anymore. Just leave it behind.”
Karen opened her lips and wanted to say something, but she didn’t know how to put it. Her fret was getting stronger.
“Alas… that boy!” Karen sighed again and stopped talking.
