Carlos smiled. Since George didn’t believe it, there was no point in trying to convince him.

Jordy frowned. Carlos’ words were like a thorn in his flesh. Jordy was still pondering over it.

Jordy could see how George’s feelings for Nydia changed each time he made fun of her.
