Chapter 866 You Did a Great Job
Someone said, “So you mean your cousin can write codes, right? And she is very good at it.”
Angela immediately said, “I don’t know what you’re talking about. Gloria doesn’t know those things. I mean she could only do simple things with computers. I don’t know what happened, but don’t try to levy unfounded accusations about her.”
Angela acted like a real elder cousin. She had been defending Gloria and refusing to tell these reporters anything about her.
In fact, she was trying to tell them that Gloria was very good at using computers and was an excellent hacker!
These reporters got her reply and then would let her go. Sometimes, people were more curious about such an ambiguous reply.
They asked Angela a few more questions, which sounded like a trap for Angela, but Angela seemed to be on guard all the time. She was cautious with her speech, which proved that what they guessed was right.
After the reporters were all dispersed, Angela went home.
It was time for her to leave work. She drove home and was furious.
Claude was at home. Seeing her look, he frowned slightly, “What’s wrong?”
Angela was extremely sullen. She looked directly at Claude, “Dad, do you know you were deceived?”
Martha was bringing dishes out when she heard Angela’s words. After putting down the dishes, she looked at Angela with a puzzled look, “What do you mean?”
Angela sneered and looked at Claude with sarcasm in her eyes, “You thought you could solve all the problems after you got the Collins Group’s secret. So you contacted Three Musketeers and asked them to crack into the program of the Collins Group. Even if you failed, they would keep what you did a secret. This was your plan, right?”
Claude was a little pale. He looked at Angela, “Why did you mention this suddenly?”
