Chapter 907 I Will Not Prosecute an Innocent Man
Dr. Robinson’s pause proved everything.
Gloria didn’t need to see him give himself away, because Irene had told her about the situation. It would be useless no matter how hard he tried to cover the whole thing up.
Dr. Robinson was afraid and annoyed. He stopped, and turned to Gloria, “What do you mean? You give me a conviction of killing someone just with the list you have? I have been a doctor for so many years and I have been treating patients and saving lives. I never killed anyone! But you are going to put that charge on me just because of a list of herbs? And what’s wrong with these herbs?”
He never gave such a list to Gloria.
Gloria sneered, “You just admitted that you gave these herbs to him, didn’t you?”
Dr. Robinson immediately frowned and said in a cold voice, “I did give him a list, but it was a long time ago. I don’t remember the herbs on the list at all. What charge do you want to put on me again?”
Although he was guilty, he was more experienced than Gloria. He wouldn’t break down so easily.
He would tell Mr. White about this after he went back! This woman… had tracked back on him!
Gloria nodded, “Well, since you refuse to admit it, just go.”
Dr. Robinson froze for an instant. What did she mean?
She was getting to the bottom of the matter and trying to make him admit it, wasn’t she?
But now she let him go?
She came to find him, which had already alarmed them.
She must have other evidence that could prove Mr. White guilty.
