Elena jolted upright and glared at Sebastian “Why?” she demanded. 

“You’re a highly gifted and powerful practitioner. Letting you go would undoubtedly lead to trouble. Stay here, and as long as you avoid causing trouble, I can take care of you for the rest of your life. You won’t have to worry about food and shelter.” 

“Are you planning to hold me captive for the rest of my life?” Elena snapped. 

“Yes, you could say that” Sebastian nodded. 

Elena glared at him furiously. “You’re despicable! I gave you the most precious thing there, and this is how you treat me? 

Sebastian laughed mockingly. “Firstly, you drugged me. I didn’t ask for. Secondly, you are my prisoner. Forget your body, even your life is in my hands,” 

Seething with rage, Elena clenched her jaw and controlled her urge to lash out 

However, Sebastian remained indifferent to her fury. After getting dressed, he prepared to leave the room. Just then, he was overwhelmed with dizziness. 

Sebastian whirled around to contront Elena upon noticing that something was amiss. “Did you poison me?” 

Elena laughed triumphantly. “That’s right, I poisoned you. It’s a pity that you realized it far too late.” 

“Was it the perfume you’re wearing?” Sebastian clarified. 

Elena chuckled and extended a finger, giving it a playful wag. “The perfume on my skin is merely an aphrodisiac.” 

Sebastian’s face darkened as he said, “The rumors that Queen Bee is skilled in the art or polsoning aren’t unfounded. I took every precaution, and yet I still fell prey.” 

“It’s useless to take precautions. I applied the poison directly to my skin. Given my allure and the effects of the aphrodisiac, no man could resist me. 

“No matter how almighty you are, you’re still just a man. No man is immune.” Elena snerred. 

“You’re vicious enough to use your body as bait underestimated you.“Sebastian’s tone was tinged with reluctant admiration for Elena’s ruthlessness. 

“Do you think I wanted this? This was my trump card, my last resort I wouldn’t have resorted to it if there had been any other way,” Elena hissed. 

She then swiftly got dressed and picked up a fruit knife from the table. 

Sebastian warned, “Queen Bee, consider this a warning. Don’t think that being poisoned leaves me powerless. Hand over the antidote promptly if you have any sense. Otherwise, 1 won’t hesitate to kill you.” 

Elena merely laughed mockingly and said sarcastically, “Don’t try to bluff your way out of this. The poison used is called ‘Bone Devourer. There are no symptoms in the early 

stages. 

However, as the poison spreads throughout your body, you’ll start to feel lightheaded and then experience excruciating pain. Every part of your body will hurt. In no time, your internal organs will be devoured, followed by your flesh and bones.
