Chapter 659 How to Say I Love You in Spanian?
After checking in, boarding the plane, and sitting on the seat, Deirdre felt so sleepy that she couldn’t keep her eyes open, yet she still couldn’t fall asleep.
The moment she was notified to turn off the phone before departure, she heard the sound of a text message coming from her phone. She was surprised that someone would send her a text message.
Whoever knew her phone number clearly knew that she couldn’t see. She would have ignored the message in the past. But for no reason, she handed her phone to a flight attendant and requested, “Hi, I’m blind. Can you please help me take a look at the message and let me know the content?”
The flight attendant took the phone, and the moment she saw the content of the message, she was startled.
“What’s wrong?”
“It’s a foreign language, and I think it’s Spanian. I don’t understand it. Can I ask around for you?” replied the flight attendant.
“Spanian?”
The flight attendant was unsure and apologetically said, “The languages of several countries are too similar, and I can’t tell the difference. How about I ask my colleagues to help you?”
Deirdre suddenly recalled that Brendan was very good at Spanian. It wasn’t because it was his major but because he always liked to do one thing to its perfection.
When Brendan had to cooperate with people from Spania for company projects, he would study the language all the time except for work.
At one time, Deirdre had the chance to take a glance at Brendan’s language book and asked what he was doing, and he explained it impatiently. She became curious and sat down on the chair beside him.
“What are you doing?” Brendan gazed at her with his black eyes. He didn’t reject her, sitting beside her, and only said, “Don’t disturb me. I’ll need to take a rest early.”
“I won’t disturb you,” Deirdre promised obediently. “I just recalled that I’ve been talking to a lady who’s a Spania-born Berth People. If I can learn some Spanian and converse a little bit with her, she’d be very happy, right?”
Brendan looked at her with surprise. “I thought you weren’t into socializing?”
‘Yes, but there is always a time when people go astray and find their way back.”
“It’s not how you apply this sentence here.” Taking a sip of tea, he seemed to be delighted and asked, “Which words would you like to learn?”
