Return Of The Real Heiress: Secrets And Masks novel Chapter 624

Chapter 624

When Stella came out of Cora’s room, she seemed more alert, possibly due to what Cora had just told her.

Worried about eavesdroppers, she glanced around before walking towards her room.

However, her vigilance did not go unnoticed.

Behind a cabinet in the corner, Crow, dressed in a maid’s uniform, glanced at Stella’s retreating figure with disdain and sneered.

He then looked at her watch. “Three hours left. I hope everything goes smoothly. I wonder how Claire is doing. If I find out that you’re the one who did this, Stella, I will not let you off the hook.”

Tristan had been in his office at the courtyard all day. To others, it seemed like a day filled with work, but it was not.

As soon as the crowd left his office, the assistant stepped forward and reported, “Mr. Walton.”

Tristan hummed. “How is everything going?”

The assistant replied truthfully, “Mrs. Walton sent someone to kidnap Claire. She is on the Walton family’s private island, which is not close to Betrico. Mrs. Walton may not know that many of our people are on the island.

“I heard that secrecy is quite good. It won’t be easy for Arthur, his daughter, or his son–in–law to find her.”

Tristan laughed, a chilling sound. “As expected, a woman’s methods are more insidious and vicious than a man’s. What about Stella? Any movements?”

The assistant replied, “Ms. Walton just got home. There’s no movement yet.”

Tristan lit a cigarette. “Knowing her, she won’t last the night. She’ll probably go find the woman who’s fighting over the same man as her for a confrontation.

“Make sure everything is taken care of for her. And tell the people on the island to keep an eye on Stella. Don’t let her get impulsive and kill Claire. After all, I still have plans for her.”

“Yes, sir.”

Two hours later, Stella departed through Walton residence’s secret passage. The person who came to meet her was Cora’s confidante.

The secret passage was aptly named. No one knew about it, not even Crow lurking in the Walton residence. There was no sign of activity.

At this moment, he was counting down the time, counting down to the task that Cherise had arranged for him in an hour.

He spent almost all day exploring every nook and cranny of the Walton residence’s garden, and now he was sitting in a very secluded corner.

He counted down the time, and when the moment arrived, he jumped up, cautiously walked to the corner directly below the window of Lydia’s room.

“I hope you haven’t let my boss down. Five, four, three, two, one…” Crow muttered. As he paused all the surveillance cameras in the Walton residence, the welded window in Lydia’s room finally moved.

Crow looked up and breathed a sigh of relief.

Ten minutes later, a modified dark car sped away from a grove not far from the Walton residence.

Sitting in the car were Crow and Lydia, who had just escaped from the Walton residence.

Crow shouted casily, “Fantastic! Mission accomplished.”

Lydia said, “Thank you.”

Crow waved his hand. “You are welcome. I just felt sorry for you. I have never seen a family lock up their children like thieves.

“And the injuries on your body, it will take some time to heal. I am afraid it will leave scars. Fortunately, you met me, met my boss.
