The staff member's face turned dark as he said, "Please wait here for a moment. I'll go exchange these for cash for you two."
With other customers around, they couldn't afford to make a scene.
But as the staff member took the chips away, he exchanged a knowing look with his colleague.
"Tell the manager someone's cheating in the casino."
"On it."
A moment later, the staff member, who Colby had confronted earlier, returned with security guards in tow.
Pointing at Colby, the staff member shouted, "It was him! He threatened me with a knife to get in here!"
Hearing this, ten security guards immediately surrounded Colby and Sophie.
The head of security sneered, "So, you're the one who snuck in with tricks?"
Colby didn't respond, just continued sipping his tea leisurely.
Irritated by Colby's nonchalance, the guard raised his taser, ready to strike. But the manager, who had just arrived, went pale upon seeing Colby's face. "Stop! Stop right now! Hands off!"
The manager's command halted the guards. One of them protested, "These two are suspicious. We were about to teach them a lesson!"
"You idiots!"
The manager nearly slapped the guard's face. "Can't you see this is Mr. Colby? Are you out of your minds? Apologize now!"
The guards were stunned.

Enjoying the story, to much victimising Sophie, they could at least try to target others. Hope at some point Sophie comes clean and forgives James and explain her view of loving the boy James was. Just so they both learn and move on. Really needs to be some consequences for the instigators instead of being let go. Sandy needs to see Vanessa is using her as a cover, and Sandy needs to wake up to herself, or be held responsible by her father for alienating the people she was supposed to make contact with. Hope the reporter brother is keeping an eye on what Vanessa and Odie are up to, and that he has he’s own justice in store. Hope he becomes like Reese a good partner. Hope James lives and finds he’s HEA. Need to put Nicole in prison , no release and several lifetimes , with all the evidence on the crimes she’s committed just to get her out of the way guilt free. More about what’s up with Gordon....
