Chapter 59 Looking Forward to That Day 

I shouted at Jeremiah, “Get off me! Don’t touch me!” 

The more I struggled, the tighter his grip around my wrists became, and his face kept getting closer. Just as he was about to kiss me, the overwhelming pressure suddenly disappeared. 

I snapped back to reality and saw Eric–who had entered without me noticing–grabbing Jeremiah by the collar and throwing him to the ground. 

Seemingly unsatisfied, Eric loosened his tie, rolled up his sleeves, and clenched his fist with visible veins pulsing. Then, he punched Jeremiah square in 

the face 

Jeremiah let out a muffled grunt and collapsed to the floor. 

“Someone like you trying to touch Joe Eric yelled, his tone harsh and filled with disdain. 

This was the first time I had seen him show such aggression. One punch after another landed. Within seconds, Jeremiah’s face was unrecognizable, his nose and eyes bruised beyond recognition
