“Hmm?” Stanley Batton asked softly.
“I’ll love you in the best way I can. Thank you for the love you’ve given me,” Xyla Quest said gently. Her voice was soft as usual.
“Don’t worry. If we really have to part ways for some reason in the future, I’ll return to you everything you’ve given me exactly as they were,” Xyla added.
When Stanley heard this, he frowned deeply and pressed Xyla against the bed. He held her face with a serious expression on his face.
“Xyla Quest, listen up. We’ll be in love forever. Nothing like that will ever happen,” Stanley said.
“What if it does? For example, what if you cheated on me?” Xyla said jokingly.
“If I cheat on you, then I’ll give you everything I own just as I’d agreed to by signing on that letter of guarantee from before,” Stanley continued with each word enunciated clearly. “Also, I won’t cheat on you. I won’t ever cheat on you in this lifetime…”
“Who knows?” Xyla started joking again.
Although Xyla was joking, Stanley was serious about it…
His facial expression was becoming increasingly serious. In fact, he even raised three fingers in the air. “I swear to god that if I betray Xyla Quest, I’ll…”
Before Stanley could finish his sentence, Xyla took the initiative to wrap her arms around his neck. She gently kissed the words he’d yet to speak back into his mouth.
Their lips and teeth became tangled lovingly.
After a long time had passed, Stanley reluctantly let go of Xyla. He looked deeply at her as he panted.
“Xyla… Did you know this? Once a man has met the most beautiful woman on earth, he would never desire after ordinary women…” Stanley said.
His words made Xyla feel a warmth spread in her heart yet again…
She continued to wrap her arms around his neck. “Hmm… I was just joking with you. I was teasing you… Mmph…”
“Xyla… I love you…” Stanley said.
“I love you too,” Xyla said.
