“Rachel, you really are different from the rest,” he told her as he pulled her gently into his arms.

“This is all my fault," he went on. "If I hadn’t gone out, none of this would’ve happened. It was an opportunity for them to show up to annoy you.

“It is my fault that I didn’t look after you. I am truly sorry if seeing them made you recall all those memories from before."
