“No!” The man knelt on the ground, roaring miserably.

Now everything was settled and they were ready to go. 

Evangeline turned to the white tiger, patted him on his head, and said, “Go. Goodbye, and I don’t think we’ll see each other again. You are now the king of this forest, but I must warn you to stay away for a while, as someone might come to hunt you.” 

The white tiger groaned, looking anxious. 

Evangeline said, “I don’t understand what you’re saying. Stop roaring” 

The white tiger stamped his feet anxiously and circled her. However, Evangeline kicked it away and said, “Stop circling. You’re making me dizzy. A beast your size has no natural enemies in the wild. Just go.” 

Evangeline motioned for Marian and Riley to push the raft into the river, and then the three of
