Hannah responded to Charles’s insincere talk.

She went back to the villa.

In the living room, Michelle had gotten nervous, “Hannah, where did you go last night? Your father and I nearly called the police.”

“I got drunk with Susan last night and stayed at her house.” Hannah said.
