After agreeing on the details with Luke, Selena walked out of the Olympus Group alone.

Olympus Group’s staff were all a bit surprised to see a young girl with long hair and eye-catching features walking out of the lift reserved for the boss of the company.

“Who is this? A new employee? Which department is she from?”

“I don’t know, she walked out of Mr Jordan’s lift, what’s her relationship with Mr. Jordan?”

Leaving the whispered voices of doubt behind, Selena walked to the roadside drink shop and bought a glass of lime water, holding it and sitting on the roadside lounger.

She looked up at the blue-coloured sky of Creephia and missed her home country.

The sky there is also such a blue colour

But it gives a far less peaceful and serene feeling.

It is a place where even the air smells cold and clear.

There were her family, her friends, everything she had risked her life to protect.

When she was too ill to see the wind, she used to sit like this in her glass bower, looking up at the blue sky, and occasionally seeing the majestic eagles flying with their wings.

One day her feet will set foot on her homeland again, bringing home the heroes who died in vain and placing them in the Monument of Heroes with her own hands.

Selena took a sip of chilled lime water, suppressing the thoughts churning in her heart, and gave a warm smile to the sky

The mobile phone in her bag vibrated, Selena looked at it, the screen was flashing a note – “Hubby”.

She was surprised, and chuckled at the title.

Selena had lost her mobile phone before, and in order to prevent the Riddle family and the Walson family from harassing her, she didn’t deliberately go looking for it.

This mobile phone was give to her by Osvaldo when she went out this morning.

Hubby.

Funny.

Selena stared at the address for a few seconds, before she pressed the answer button.

Olympus Group.

Luke gazed at Selena’s back in front of the floor-to-ceiling window, the corners of his eyes lifting slightly.

He turned around, fetched the remote control on the table and pressed it.

The curtain on the wall rises and on the huge screen, a man dressed in black appears.

He sat on the sofa, with deep dark eyes and a face as handsome as it could be, without a trace of expression.

Long, slender fingers rest on his knees, and there is an air of dignity all over his body.

Luke held the glass of water and said with interest, “You woman is really something.”

A multinational company as big as Olympus Group’s is enough to clothe and feed a person for several lifetimes, and she says she doesn’t want it, such drive and heart is not something that anyone can have.

Darkness seemed to freeze in Osvaldo’s eyes, and he gave Luke a cold glance, “If she lose a single hair in Olympus Group, I will tear you apart.”

Luke felt a pain in his cheeks, and was keenly aware that the mood of Osvaldo did not seem to be good.

Was it because his wife had not received his bride price?

Is the bride price that important now that she’s married to him?

Luke spat inwardly, but under the oppressive gaze of absolute power, he seemed to goad without hesitation and said with a smile, “She is your beloved wife, who would dare to give her the slightest bit of grief within Creephia?”
