Osvaldo looked at his vindictive wife, feeling pleased that she had finally become aware of her reliance on him. He raised his slender and fair hand and said, "Come."
Selena joyfully ran over and hooked her arm around his.
The couple was getting ready to leave when they suddenly heard a clear voice behind them saying, "Selena, wait for me!"
Hattie came running down the stairs in her boots and looked up at Selena with her face. "Selena, can you take me with you?"
Selena knew that the little girl was worried that she might be taken advantage of and couldn't help but smile. "Sure."
Selena led Hattie out of the villa and unexpectedly saw Leon waiting outside the door. Selena raised her eyebrows.
Hattie wrinkled her delicate nose and asked, "Brother, why are you here?"
Leon smiled and opened the car door. "I'll give you a ride."
Hattie pouted and got into Leon's car obediently.
Selena keenly sensed something strange, but she didn't show it and got into the passenger seat next to Osvaldo.
And that strange feeling was magnified again when Selena entered the research institute.
She asked Patrick, who had purposely waited for her there, "Why are they all looking at me?"
Patrick coughed and his tone carried an indescribable meaning. "Probably because... they worship you."
Selena was confused.
Most of the people in the research institute harbored deep hostility towards her. It was already good enough if they didn't reject her, so how could they suddenly change their attitude and worship her?
Before Patrick could explain, Principal Marshall walked over and said, "Miss Turner, Mr. Turner, shall we go in together?"
Patrick nodded and said, "Let's go, Selena."
Selena smiled at Osvaldo and followed the Turner family's group.
Osvaldo looked at the unscrupulous woman and his lips curled up.
Leon held Hattie's hand and said with a smile, "She hasn't married into the Anderson family yet. In this situation, following the Turner family is the right thing to do."
Everyone in the capital knew about Selena cohabiting with Osvaldo. But with the interests involved in the marriage alliance between the two families, their stances were completely different.
It was indeed inappropriate to bring up the matter before the marriage.
It had to be said that when it came to matters of principle, Selena was clear about what was public and what was private. Even Leon wanted to sympathize with the young master of the Anderson family.
Hattie rolled her eyes.
She resisted telling Leon that Selena and Osvaldo had already gotten their marriage license. After all, how could it be so easy to announce Selena as a member of the Anderson family without a betrothal gift or a wedding?
Osvaldo remained silent and didn't immediately follow.
His assistant came forward and handed a document to Leon, saying, "Mr. Riddle, this was sent by Mr. Jordon two days ago... My young master thinks you should take a look."
Leon looked at the document for a moment, and his gentle expression disappeared completely, his eyes becoming completely dark.
Hattie had never seen Leon look so cold before and asked, "Brother, what is it?"
Leon took the thing and rubbed Hattie's hair, "It's something important, a child wouldn't understand."

The readers' comments on the novel: Revenge On Love Rats After Rebirth by Olivia Marsh
From the beginning of the story to page 148, the plot is just going in circles about fighting. So ridiculous and waste of time to read! I have no patience for these kind stories. Be more creative if you’re planning to write a book/story!!!...
Beautiful story...
