Knowing that Selena was going to confront Leah over the ownership of "Breaking Ground" today, Hattie got up early and sat on the couch in front of the TV, staring at it intently.
As the star of "Breaking Ground," Hattie had originally planned to go to the scene in person to help Selena teach that bad woman Leah a lesson. But Leon told her that there might be danger on this occasion, and if she went, she might drag Selena down.
She had no choice but to hide herself in the villa that Osvaldo had bought for Selena, as Leon said it was the safest place.
Hattie watched the live broadcast and listened to Leah's slander against Selena, her face showing a cold anger.
As Hattie was about to lose her temper, a maid suddenly walked in and said, "Miss Riddle."
Hattie looked up and saw the maid frown. "Madam Daphne is at the front door, saying she's here to see you. We told her you weren't here, but she seems convinced that you're here, and no matter how we persuade her, she won't leave until she sees you."
Hattie remembered Leon's instructions, and a slight chill suddenly seeped into her heart. She picked up the phone on the couch and called Leon, but his phone showed that he was in a call and couldn't be reached.
Hattie subconsciously wanted to call Selena, but looking at the live broadcast on the screen, her finger, which was ready to dial, stopped again.
She thought for a long time and then realized that she had no one left to call.
Seeing Hattie's pale face, the maid approached and hugged her. "Miss Hattie, don't be afraid, it's safe here, we won't let her in, she can't get in."
"Madam Selena called back yesterday and asked us to take good care of you, everything is fine."
Hattie's cold fingers added a little warmth. She said coldly, "Let her go... I don't want to see her!"
The maid hurriedly reassured her, "Okay, we'll go and make Madam Daphne leave right away!"
The maid poured Hattie a cup of water, and seeing her pale face, immediately called the doctor, then turned and walked out, ready to use some extraordinary means to get Daphne to leave.
Hattie sat on the couch, staring at Leah on the TV, her expression becoming extremely cold.
The phone on the couch vibrated. Hattie thought it was a message from Leon, and her cold hands and feet finally regained some warmth. She exhaled a breath and walked to the couch, picking up the phone.
Hattie looked at the screen.
Instead of the message from Leon, there was a video.
The video showed an operating room in a hospital.
A young and beautiful woman was struggling and screaming on the hospital bed, but could not stop the sharp and cold surgical knife from piercing her chest and taking out a bloody heart.
Large swaths of bright red blood stained the white sheets, seemingly staining the entire ward.
The woman's eyes were wide open, lifeless, and her expression was frozen in the most painful and desperate moment.
Hattie stared at the familiar face on the video, her small body tense, and her empty eyes turned blood red.
"Ah!!!"
At the entrance of the villa, the bodyguard was preparing to send Daphne away when suddenly a cold and tender scream came from the villa.
It was probably the most terrifying and sorrowful scream that anyone had ever heard in their entire life.
Everyone was frightened.
Even Daphne, who was usually persistent, was taken aback.

The readers' comments on the novel: Revenge On Love Rats After Rebirth by Olivia Marsh
From the beginning of the story to page 148, the plot is just going in circles about fighting. So ridiculous and waste of time to read! I have no patience for these kind stories. Be more creative if you’re planning to write a book/story!!!...
Beautiful story...
